You’re in luck! Eka Yoga Centre has opened in the old BBY location (473A Church St.).   They are honouring all your passes until Jan 1st 2013.  Please see Effie Karadjian (the mama of Eka Yoga) for details.

Buddha Bodies will be excited to see her gorgeous new space. This is a brand spankin' new studio and you guys already have passes - lucky you!

Hello again Buddha Bodies!

Vrinda here.  Let’s catch up!

You know I’ve missed you... but only a little bit  ;)

Before we go on; I want to remind you that any yoga passes you still have from BBY are valid at Eka Yoga Centre until January 1st, 2013.  Please come out and support this beautiful new studio.

For all the talk out there about yoga and its benefits, there’s something I want to mention that often gets over looked in the analysis.

“Yoga invites us into a state of constant self realization and truth.”

For me, this illustrates how BBY and my role within as: owner, teacher, hostess, entrepreneur and janitor are now changing.

As I observe my process of growth and the growth of those around me it becomes more difficult to draw lines around yoga/not yoga, creativity/stress and leadership/tribes.  For the last four years I watched with wonder and delight as BBY evolved from a small family filled with ideas, to a curious and alive community of teachers, students and travelers.  And now; I’m delicately composing a new chapter for myself to continue to be of service not just to the yoga community but to creatives and entrepreneurs everywhere.

The “Brand” will be going solo now; and I continue to accept and embrace this on going process of growth.  Hopefully you will join me.  But maybe you don’t see things like I do.  That’s ok....  I’ve come to the conclusion that you should never do things in life just because you’re good at them or you feel obligated.  You need passion!  I give an explanation here not because I feel obligated, rather I hope to inspire you to live true and understand how change happens.

My Summer hiatus was necessary for me to clean out stale energy and to make room for a transformational process. Here’s some of the things I did get up to:

  1. -Took a social media break so I could really be present in my relationship

  2. -Learned how to cook (seriously, Kurt has been doing it for 3 years)

  3. -Connected with amazing entrepreneurs and expanded my tribe

  4. -Lived trough a massive home renovation

  5. -Toured the Bruce Peninsula (feeling more Canadian everyday)

  6. -Revamped my strategy, teaching and business plans

  7. -Thanked all my teaches

Going forward I want to help you to:

  1. -Develop your own leadership role and purpose

  2. -Cultivate relationships with other movers and shakers

  3. -Live a happier, healthier life

  4. -Use your yoga to help you with the things your destined to do

  5. -Be strategic kings and queens in your businesses and lives

Buddha Body will no longer be JUST a yoga studio. No point playing small in this world when you have BIG missions.  After running a studio with a  solid membership of 400 students and a team of 21 teachers (not to mention the thousands of you on this list) this is a huge change for me.  But when you know, you just know, it’s time to move forward - you simply can’t wait. I am a creative entrepreneur before I am a yoga teacher, so after much thought, I am standing up like Bambi and changing EVERYTHING.

I promise I’m not here to make false promises, all undertakings take practice and effort - lets take our yoga into our life, work, relationships and businesses... big sigh.

Thank you for reading this and making my work rewarding.

If you need to get in touch - this is the only email you will be able to reach me at:  vrindaeapen@gmail.com I do not reply to big life questions and it’s not because I’m not listening but because I’m not qualified to tackle such lofty advice requests. Please keep it short and ask for what you want - it keeps you on my good side. I read every piece of mail I receive, and it is nearly impossible for me to respond to everyone, so don’t feel insulted if I don’t always write back.

If you use Facebook, please connect with me quickly. Right here! Such a great time waster and place to connect.

I hope this inspires you to also take some time to recharge your batteries and make space to contemplate, rest and buy shoes.

As Arnold said: “I’ll be back.”

Yours in creativity,

Vrinda Eapen aka: Trouble Maker, The Token Indian Yogi
